~ RAPIDLY BECOMING THE INDUSTRY STANDARD ~
The CONSENSOR is a patented unique, and well proven condensation sensor that instantly reacts to the actual initial onset of the condensation process. This response occurs before there is any perceptible trace of condensate ... well before there is any risk of "rain" or drip. Virtually all other so-called "condensation sensors" are actually humidistats typically set to 80% to 90% RH (Relative Humidity). When the adjacent RH reaches the preset level, they signal a condensation condition well before it actually occurs. Actually, condensation might never occur. As a result, coolant flow is often stopped needlessly- often when it's needed most. The more elaborate dew point based condensation sensors are similarly predicated on the immediate RH and share these same issues.
The CONSENSOR is based on an entirely different principle. It includes an extremely responsive condensate sensing area that is intimately coupled thermally to your surface of interest - a pipe for example. Both share the same atmosphere. Consequently, when the pipe "sweats", that sensing area simultaneously "sweats". The CONSENSOR's integrated microprocessor is programmed to initiate a condensation signal when a microscopic deposit of condensate appears on that sensing area ... as demonstrated in the YOUTUBE video.
With a CONSENSOR based condensation control system, the coolant flow can safely continue at maximum capacity right to the brink of the condensation occurrence without risk of condensation "rain" or drip. This has been proven in hundreds of chilled beam HVAC installations, in water cooled power supplies, in large industrial welders, etc., and in nuclear atomic accelerators and critical airborne radar systems. CONSENSORs were used in Raytheon's testing of the MARS ROVER cameras.
Recovery time depends on the RH in its vicinity and the frequency and amount of condensate that was experienced in any event. ALL condensation sensors are vulnerable to excessive amounts of condensate or other liquids on their internal sensors.

Both models provide fully isolated (voltage free) SP/ST Normally Closed solid state contacts for systems with - or without, a Controller. These contacts may also be used in systems where valve solenoids, etc. are controlled directly by thermostats / relays, etc.
